Já bem conhecidos no cenário do Blues paulistano, Mauricio Pedrosa, Marco Guto e Victor Busquets entram em cena com Mauricio Pedrosa Blues Trio. Victor Busquets, que se apresenta também com Zona Blues, Robson Fernandes Blues Band, Comparsas do Nogueira, entre outros, é considerado um dos melhores bateristas do gênero. Sua formação acadêmica somada ao verdadeiro espírito do Blues, resultam num estilo marcante e de muita personalidade.

Marco Guto, fundador e contrabaixista da banda paulistana Zona Blues, contribui com sua precisão rítmica e estilo melódico para criar um forte elo de ligação entre o teclado e a bateria.

Mauricio Pedrosa, tecladista, compositor, arranjador e produtor, que já se apresentou no Festival Internacional de Jazz de Montreal e participou de shows com Rita Lee, Walter Franco, J. J. Jackson, Lil’ Ray Neal, Charlie Love, Tom Hunter, entre outros, apresenta em seus shows, clássicos do Blues, New Orleans, Boogie-Woogie, Jazz Blues e algumas composições próprias.

Em seu primeiro CD, “Jazz Blues Fusion”, como o próprio nome já diz, há a predominância do Jazz Blues baseado no som do órgão Hammond. Neste seu segundo CD, “Piano Blues”, as faixas são todas tocadas no piano acústico e o repertório abrange Blues tradicional, shuffle, slow Blues, boogie-woogie e New Orleans.

Woody se unió a la Allman Brothers Band junto con el guitarrista Warren Haynes a la reunión del grupo en 1989. Woody y Haynes formó parte del proyecto Gov't Mule en 1994 con el baterista Matt Abts. El dos de ellos decidieron abandonar la Allman Brothers Band en 1997 para poner un esfuerzo de tiempo completo en Gov't Mule. Woody murió en 2000, dejando atrás a su esposa Jenny y Savannah hija. La causa de su muerte fue una sobredosis de heroína.

La muerte de Woody ayudó a Haynes en su decisión de volver a la Allman Brothers Band. Gov't Mule continuó después de su muerte con Andy Hess entrar en funciones en el bajo después de un período de tres años que vio a un grupo de turno de los bajistas como Mike Gordon, Escuelas Dave, Burbridge Oteil, George Porter Jr. y Les Claypool.

Después de su muerte, Epiphone publicó el Woody Allen Rumble Kat de edición limitada
